‘Mahoora’ holds press conference without producer

‘Mahoora’ cast have attended the Fajr Film Festival in the absence of late producer.

The press conference of Hamid Zargarnejad’s latest movie was held on Thursday in the presence of the cast and crew, while a picture of the film’s late producer Hamid Akhondi was located on his chair.

Akhondi died on May 26, 2017 due to a heart attack.

‘Mahoora’ depicts the story of a border village in Iran where people have a strange local custom.

‘Mahoora’ features popular Iranian actors such as Kamran Tafti, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Dariush Arjmand, Saeed Aqakhani, Saed Soheili, Ahmad Kavari, Mitra Hajjar, Ali Osivand and Yousef Moradian.

The 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is currently underway from February 1-11, 2018, in Tehran.
